Louise is a minor character in the film Do the Right Thing, portrayed by Gwen McGhee. She is the mother of Eddie
She is only shown when Da Mayor saves Eddie from a car almost running him over. Louise comes out and Eddie tells Louise that Da Mayor knocked him down. Louise tells Da Mayor how he ought to be ashamed of himself. Da Mayor tells her what actually happened, and Louise tries to get Eddie to tell the truth after he lied to her. She spanks him in front of a crowd, then Eddie runs home, and she tells him that when his father gets home, he'll punish him as well. Da Mayor tells Louise how she didn't have to do that, Louise tells Da Mayor how she appreciates what he did, but doesn't want to have anyone to tell her how to raise her child, not even his dad. Da Mayor then says how she's right.
