Clifton is a minor character in the film Do the Right Thing, portrayed by John Savage. He wears a Boston Celtics jersey and has a bicycle. In the film, he is sweating and accidentally bumps into Buggin' Out, making marks on his Air Jordan sneakers. Buggin' Out is raged by this and argues with him. Buggin' says how he should buy him a new pair of snickers and what he's doing in a black neighbourhood. Clifton says he owns the Brownstone building, and how its a free country and you can live anywhere you want. Buggin' Out tells him to go back to Massachusetts, but replies that he was born in Brooklyn.
